In a long and colourful life, Amoghamitra has been in the Royal Navy, the Merchant Navy and the Fire Service.  He’s also spent time as a successful amateur boxer, nightclub bouncer and pub landlord, and has taught meditation and Buddhism in schools.  Having had a committed Buddhist practice for many years, he was ordained into the Triratna Buddhist Order in 2003 and given the name Amoghamitra, meaning ‘unfailing friend’.   Amoghamitra delights in bringing Buddhist practice down-to-earth - right into our own lived experience.  He lives with his family in mid-Wales.
